Project Overview:

The VOICIVA App project was an ambitious endeavor to revolutionize the way individuals interact with and utilize their voices through the power of AI. Challenge:

The primary challenge with VOICIVA was to design an interface that could handle the complex functionalities of voice manipulation without overwhelming the user. It needed to be intuitive enough for users with no technical background yet robust for those who wanted to explore the full capabilities of the app.

Design Process and Contributions:

As the Lead Product Designer, my role was multifaceted and involved the following key areas:

  1. Conceptual Design: Starting with a foundational understanding of voice processing technology, I conceptualized how each feature would be presented and interacted with in the app.
  2. UX/UI Design: Utilizing tools like Sketch and Figma, I crafted a user interface that was sleek and modern, with a focus on ease of use. The navigation was designed to be straightforward, allowing users to access the app's features without a steep learning curve.
  3. Prototyping and Interaction: I created interactive prototypes to test the flow of voice recording, editing, and sharing within the app, ensuring that the user experience was seamless from start to finish.
  4. Graphic and Audio Visuals: The app included visual representations of audio waves and feedback, which I designed to be both informative and visually engaging.
  5. Usability Testing: The design went through rigorous user testing, gathering feedback from a diverse user base to refine and optimize the interaction design.

Innovative Features:

  • Real-time Voice Transformation: Providing users with the ability to transform their voice in real-time, with various presets and custom settings.
